Based on what I read, it’s for security and economic reasons. I don’t think they can afford to accommodate them. Also, I think they’re afraid that Haitians will eventually take over. I don’t know any Haitians personally, but based on my research, I agree with you. Haitians and Black Americans are similar in many ways. Both groups (clears throat) don’t take sh*t from anyone. They want obedient doormats who are going to keep their heads down, leave their culture behind, and assimilate. Just like Black Americans, I don’t think Haitians would accept that.
