I cannot stand people who anthropomorphize animals and paste their emotions onto them. They did it with the tripod fish, everyone was making these “sad” edits about how “terrible” their quality of life is when in reality it was misinfo that was made up by some random person everyone started believing out of nowhere. They’re literally evolved perfectly fine to adapt to their environment, nobody knows how to think for themselves anymore and fact-check things they see on the internet and instead go around and spew misinformation. It irks me so much 😭

I agree with most of this, I don’t believe any animal is inherently evil but I also think that there have been many studies proving that highly emotionally intelligent animals have been seen to intentionally take advantage of natural hallucinogenics. And there’s nothing wrong with that!!!

I think them getting high has been debunked. Pufferfish toxins dont work that way and enough exposure to feel any effects would be fatal to an animal as big as a dolphin. I think they just like them because they’re ball shaped and floaty

Dolphins are my favorite animal but I rarely admit that because there will always be someone saying “but dolphins grape each other!” or “they use animals for fun!” Orcas do this too but yet for some unknown reason it’s okay to like orcas and not dolphins? I like dolphins because they are incredibly smart but the problem with that is people make up excuses and say “dolphins are smart enough to know it’s wrong!” Dolphins do not have the same morals as people do so it’s not right to push our morals onto an animal and get upset when they don’t follow these morals

This is not a hate comment but I'm so tired of people giving animals human characteristics. No matter what u think at the end of the day, animals survive and live by instinct so ofc they're not gonna know the moral compass that we have. Not even the smartest animals in the world like elephants and pigs don't know any better. This doesn't mean that they're bad, they js don't know any better bc they're ANIMALS and js live in different ways.
