Guys, BEFORE you do ANYTHING. Make sure you buy an UTLET TESTER. it plugs into the outlet and it will tell you if its WIRED CORRECTLY or wired WRONG. Make sure it is WIRED CORRECTLY before you replace it. You cant always copy and paste outlets if the live wire isnt previously installed correctly. ALSO. Very important if you dont HAVE A GROUND WIRE. REPLACE IT WITH A GCFI OUTLET so youre protected.

I do this for a living and still watched the entire tutorial. haha good job! Just a small tip, when you remove the old receptacle, you can just keep unscrewing until the screws comes out. That way you dont have to fight the wire coming out. It makes it easier and its trash anyways 😊

Great. might want to see if a ground or armored cable is available to ground to. only issue is there is not a real ground. perhaps the box is grounded and the screwing helps, but for safety, see if you can add a ground wire. I really appreciate your demonstration. personality thumbs up.
