There is no law stating you can’t have money and a gun in your car. Maybe in some states the gun may have been an issue but I’m just gonna take a wild little guess that Tennessee doesn’t have strict gun laws.

It’s having a gun in the car illegal no but having a gun in the car unlocked it’s just outright stupid and irresponsible. As a gun owner, I would never leave my gun in an unlocked vehicle when I take my jeep anywhere which is a soft top I will not take my gun because if I have to leave it in my car, my jeep is easier to break into than any other vehicle, but that’s just my opinion.

I mean I get why they did what they did. But having a large amount of cash isn’t illegal and having a gun in a car isn’t illegal.
