Would you add guanfacine to an SSRI or Clomipramine for an anxiety disorder and not ADHD? I took Clomipramine and it was helping my anxiety the best but even at 50 mg dose, anxiety was still there and I wanted some more benefit by increasing the dose but I was getting tachycardia during exercise and my resting HR was in the 90s where I usually have it in the 60s

I use Wellbutrin and a small dose of Straterra. I've noticed that adding a small dose of Guanfacine helps with my impulsivity. (many times I realize "wow, I'm glad I didn't say that out loud" after a thought crosses my mind...that I would have blurted out loud - and over thought after - without the guanfacine. 😂)

I am so sad cause Vyvanse works so well for me but it increases my heart rate so much and I’m on so many meds I really don’t want a beta blocker just to combat the side effect
