I was a chemistry major and had to take 1 year of physics and 1 year of calculus. I HATED IT! You just have to suffer through it.

Love it, Peter! 😁 Yeah, like you did before, positive reframing, young man! I always told my son to find something interesting in what he was learning, even when he was taking classes for which he had very little interest. Find some piece of relevance in it to your life or to the things/subjects that you are interested in. Try to make it fun! 🤜🤛

I had a class that was super boring (cultural anthropology, at Yale, in 1990) but I couldn’t get out of it. My strategy was to pretend it was just Boredom Training. The goal of passing the class was to prove to myself that if necessary I could withstand any amount of boredom 🤣

My recommendation is to connect the class to the MCAT. Try taking MCAT practice questions on the subject you’re are studying.

from a neuroscience perspective, E&M is very important for computational neuro. the ion channels and their gates along with ion flow are purely math and physics when modeled

Maybe like creating some fun quizlets OR creating some sort of playlist with motivating music? I usually love making quizlets for hard classes that I do not enjoy and then utilizing their study resources while listening to some fun music. This could be a start?
