@cafemaddy: Japgokbap • multigrain rice • I get asked about my rice all the time so here’s my super lazy but effective way to be a little more healthy with something I eat almost daily! Enjoy xx I linked a very similar product on TikTok shop that you can see on this video:) *the “blood sugar spike” in Korean became sort of an unserious expression to describe food coma / heavy carb meals! I don’t actually track my blood sugar since I’m not at risk for diabetes
Every attempt I make in buying multigrain rice I end up with a bag of weevils. 😱

Coming from a diabetic, the multi grain will spike your blood sugar just as much. Healthier yes, but still a spike

If you don’t have some metabolic issue, your blood sugar spiking is entirely fine and healthy.

Multi grain probably isn't expensive but if you want to stick to JUST white rice. Turn your rice into something healthier by cooking your rice then portioning it out and freezing those portions. Once you're ready to eat it just heat it in the microwave. Freezing the rice breaks the carb into something better digestible for u. This takes care of blood sugar issues

I enjoy multi grain rice but if someone doesn’t; You can freeze white rice after cooking and it will not spike after you reheat and eat it.

That’s my favorite multigrain rice. Sometimes I just make it by itself and don’t even add any white rice.

My MIL just told us to "just add a little more water" when she was getting us to add the multi grain rice haha. So we just measure with our hearts and it works out great somehow 😅 Now when I eat plain white rice it feels like somethings missing!
