I like bar soap because it's more environmentally friendly, at least the kind I buy. No plastic bottle or pump

i only use bar soap coz body wash doesnt dissolve yesterdays antiperspirant. but then i use body wash anyway

I use both but, I lean towards bar soap because I tend to over pour and waste liquid soap. I’ll start with a bar for my first cleanse and a liquid soap for my second.

Hello. I was wondering if I could use the naturium body washes in one shower( one after the other). Mandelic, Glycolic, Salicylic and then follow with a lactic acid lotion??

thank you! this is super helpful. I'm wondering if you have any tips on staying clean with hyperhidrosis? I work in a cleanroom and recently, it became a lot more physically intensive. by the end of 2 hrs, hair is absolutely soaked like I took a shower. it sucks and is super embarrassing and I always hope I don't smell

My skin gets irritated even from deep moisture body washes. Might just go for body cleansers that don’t have any foaming surfactants.

So I was told that it depends on your skin type. Like if you sweat a lot, bar soap is better, but if your skin is more dry and/or sensitive, go for a body wash. Idk tho.

Yeah the only reason I have both in my shower is my husband uses dove bars since he has super sensitive skin & I use whatever fun body wash I want cause I do not have super sensitive skin lmao

Super interesting!! I feel like body wash doesnt lather as well as bar soap without a washcloth or sponge to help, so on days that I don’t want to exfoliate I end up using way more than necessary to generate enough “bubble” to feel clean which then takes forever to rinse:/

actually it's just used for double cleansing that's it's and no shade we just want to get off all the dirty first before using the body wash

I know I don't have to but I like too double cleanse personally I'll use a bar soap and than smell good body wash or gel. Thats just me though 🙃

I prefer the lather of a body wash, but we’ve recently switched to dove bar soap to lessen our impact on the environment. I got little net bags to hold a bar for each person in our house and it’s been great so far!

I agree with everything your saying BUT I have recurring boil issues in the rear region and unfortunately body washes make my boil come back and bar soaps specifically the ones with sodium tallowate help to keep the boils at bay

Bar soap gives me the ick bc I feel like the bar itself harbors bacteria just sitting there out in the open all wet like that. I might be overthinking it, but I'll stick w my body washes all the same
