Look at it this way.. The mindset behind the original was 20 years ago, he’s not thinking the same, he could’ve desperately tried to replicate the tone while not feeling it, it would arguably be worse. We’re getting a fresh perspective, a likely conclusion to Jims story and maybe even a cure or a better understanding. Just appreciate it for what it is.

Best infected movies I’ve seen!! People who hate on it don’t get the story, they think the infected are zombies rising from the ground 😂 when they are infected with a virus and gives you a creative version of what is and how it can be “cured”
