@addictedtotools: Roast my timber work😂 if there’s one thing I enjoy, it’s working with wood. So this was a bit of fun and we might look at making something useful. It was also great to try out the new OX saw blade, chisels and Tracer Pro metal marking pencil. Made this an easy job.
Don’t know what kind of finish you are going for but if you ever need to hammer in and you don’t want to damage a finish edge, use a block between the finish timber and your hammer to avoid dents and marking 💪🏽

For only using a circular saw. Not bad.

Good circ blade for hardwood that doesn’t splinter it?

When cutting the joint leave a blades width away from the line if not a little less then take the rest out with trusty chisel 😉

What’s a good tool bag for someone who wants to carry an impact, drill and hand tools? I’m not sure the veto is big enough?

Great job, better than what most chippys can do 😅 that chisel looked painfully blunt, most of them need a good stone sharpen from factory. If you’ve got a lot of these style joints to do a big router with some jigs will speed it up 10x and have the accuracy perfect
