So, I am a US citizen who lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia (a major military area), for 19 years, but was not a military brat. Until, relatively recently, there has been anti-profanity signs up and down the Oceanfront of Virginia Beach. Yes, they didn't want people cursing because it is a major tourist area, and there was a major problem with young military recruits coming to the area and behaving abominably. So, part of the reason for the curfew is based on international cooperation and respect, because they have zero faith in young recruits, which is fair.

As someone who grew up in a county with far too many military bases I completely agree that they needed a curfew…. Except I happily married one. 🙂🤷🏻♀️
