when I had manic episodes my husband would call my mom and put her on speaker because he voice makes me snap back to reality. all I have to hear is her voice and it stops me. I have my episodes under control now thankfully as a mom I'm worried it'll come out but I've got my coping skills I learned to help me. Im thankful he always knows to call her if something is wrong.
