Saw "A handicapped woman" board the airplane first. She had to return to the terminal because she forgot her walker.

Treatment worker here; a lot of alcoholics use wheelchairs at the airport to board their flights to get to treatment because if they are seen stumbling or too intoxicated, they are refused to board and lose the opportunity to get better

I have two invisible illnesses- epilepsy and complex regional pain syndrome in both of my legs. I use this service every time I fly going to the gate and hang on to my crutches ( overhead bin) for the flight. Most of the time there aren’t wheelchairs waiting when I arrive at my destination. It’s unfair to ask me for proof or to walk long distances at an airport when I have made the request. Should I pay for it, it needs to be actually available. ( I use forearm crutches and can’t walk long distances)

I don’t know what happened to people having morals. I have a disabled son I have never applied for any disability for him bc my husband and I always made enough money to support him. I didn’t want to take from someone else that needed it. But the more I see people like this I realize how many fakers we have out there he is missing part of his brain so no faking that plus now that he is adult I’m going to apply bc he will soon lose his medical insurance through my in a few years due to age.

Just flew last month. A couple said they could not walk needed wheelchair but then at the gate they stood up and walked to the bathroom.

I went to Mexico on vacation and when I was coming back there were lots of people on wheelchairs. I have a metal rod and 5 screws on my left leg and I almost broke it again on vacation and I couldn't get a wheelchair just to get to the gate! 😡 so I had to walk in pain. They should start checking these people.

I travel a lot. I saw this couple in two wheelchairs board early. during that long flight they’re walking up and down the aisle, using the restroom.

I’ve had a broken foot before but I didn’t ask for help for this reason! It bothers me to see someone with a serious disability denied a wheelchair or designated area bc of this issue. 😞❤️
