This was great and helped me justify canceling my subscription. I just didn’t love their pics and the cover designs just seem a bit juvenile to me. I think owlcrate has been killing it lately

I cancelled illumicrate after raven scholar (which is an amazing book), after having the sub for 3 years, I found their pics really went downhill and I only enjoyed 3-4/12 in a year

I like Illumicrate designs I think more than Fairyloot but I feel like a little of their book picks are so hit or miss for me that it doesn’t feel worth it to keep and I like their art WHEN they change the art but it felt like a decent amount of them I have its the same cover as the regular book just in a different color way and I don’t love that for a dedicated SE box

Unfortunately, I hated most of their designs this year and only like 4/12 :( Really hoping they will make better ones this year otherwise I’m gonna cancel my subscription with them 😔

I started my subscription in September, and have got all books since except for December. The first 2 didn’t have the thread top part in the binding, which not only looks cheap but my books also had some flaws due to the binding, but the November book had it and seemed much better quality. Did they continue the better binding with December? I haven’t received my January box yet so idk if it has it or not.
