So can I back track 😭 my baby just kept taking more and more and she gets about 38oz a day. She’s 4 months! I only produce like 34oz a day and have been stressing over under producing. Should I slowly dial her oz back and start paced feeding?

Hi! I have a 6 week old, and I produce about 24 ounces-26 ounces of breast milk a day, my baby usually falls asleep at the breast, but during the day, I noticed around 4pm-6pm, after nursing her, my breasts feel empty and she still seems hungry and not satisfied? 😩

Pls help me, I am a first time mom with a 2 month and 15 days old baby and has done exclusive breastfeed my baby on demand, the first weeks i did give her formula from time to time, but the breast was just easy and have now been exclusive, however i have to go back to work but she hates the bottle and the taste of the formula. I have never pumped and have no clue as how to do it either. Yet she takes a pacifier with the same shape of the bottle nip…Pls hope you can take the time and consideration to help me! 🙏🏻

I have a 7 week old but he only takes 2-2.5 ounces at a time every 3ish hours during the day, and then only eats once overnight about 2-3 ounces. I’m worried but baby is gaining weight and pediatrician isn’t concerned. Any ideas? Does some breastmilk have for fat content?

My sister in law uses donor milk due to not being able to produce enough but gives her baby 40 ounces per day and probably has since she was 6-7 months old and is now almost a year old. 97 percentile baby lol. She says that her daughter NEVER over eats and knows when she’s hungry but it makes sense that babies who are overfed can show the same signs as hunger!

I have a 6 month old , he still does 4-4.5 oz every 4 hours & our pediatrician said he should be drinking 6oz or more per feed 😐 & im just like well im not going to over feed him til he spits up. Once he shows signs of hunger we feed him & once we see that he’s full that’s it.

My lactation consultant told me my baby needed to be eating 4oz at 4 weeks old but his pediatrician said that it’s not universal for babies. He usually won’t take more than 3oz

That’s why I never upgraded the flow on my baby’s bottle. He gets an occasional bottle of breast milk when I’m not home to nurse him. But he’s stayed on the extra slow flow nipple because it requires him to work harder like he would on my breast. He paces himself now which is great. We offer 4, sometimes he takes 2, 3, or 4oz. Just like he does on my breast. I know I’m good because when I’m away, I pump literally almost exactly what he takes when I’m gone.

I have a question my baby girl is 2 months old and I’ve been pumping and bottling feeding but I want to latch.. in the hospital I couldn’t get her to latch without suger water and when we got home she wouldn’t latch so I pump and bottle feed is there a way I can get her to latch I’ve been using Tommie tippy bottles bc there supposed to be breast like in case I could one day get her to latch. I also have small nipples could that be why? And if it is the problem does that mean she won’t latch ever?

Hi, I EP and my baby takes 35 oz a day. We were at 30 oz a day because of information like this): he would suck his bottles dry but because there 6oz bottles we thought we shouldn’t give more. We went to the doc and he wasn’t gaining weight like he should :/ we started offering 7 oz bottles and he was Luc happier after a feed and now is gaining the appropriate weight! Thoughts on this? He is 5.5 months now
