Weighing myself daily has really helped me not taking the scale too seriously.

here is what I do: record weight each morning, put it in an excel sheet and make the next column the 7 day rolling average and then only ever look at that rolling average. by design, it won't fluctuate much and will contain all the info you need.

I weight daily, because it changes so often. I fear that if I do it only once a week, I would get demotivated because maybe that one day is a day where I have extra water weight, and then I think I haven’t made progress.

hi sean, when u say you lost 2kg in 10 days, does this mean you lost 2kg from your starting weight to the lowest weight on day 10, or is this based on weekly average, your down 2kg

Agree fully lost 6 stone now. Previous diets I weighed once a week which led to chest reward meals. I weigh every morning wake. Take a piss then weigh. I now have a really solid understanding of how many body reacts to food / activity./stress / mood / eating times. Smart scales make it easy to track. (Plus I’m a data nerd).

Daily weighing keeps you focused on your weight, and reminds you of your plan. I love my daily weight.. I am even delighted if my weight stays the same. And, if you take of your teeshirt you can lose even more weight… well even if just a few once’s, this can change your figure a lot!!! 😎😥😎😎❤ boost.

Weighing every day showed me just how much water weight I gain before my period, it’s insane! And then all gone. It’s a good tool to learn your own bodies fluctuations for sure 👌

you are right. I actually worry less doing it daily than weekly of monthly. there's no blind build up to it or anxiety. keeps me accountable daily and im learning so much more about how my water intake, hormones and exercise affects me. im less obsessed and emotional and more educated!

I use the gym body analysis machine and focus on body fat percentage. Feel this is the best indicator of if I’m losing “weight”.

I weigh every day for that reason I like to know why I'm gaining and how long I gain for.. it's acting interesting to know this information

I'm in a calorie deficit and weight training consistently. Is it worth still weighing myself regularly mate? Get bad anxiety when I go on the scales but I know my body is changing obviously because of the weight training. Cheers 👌
