Update 10/07: Extension granted Last Call 11am 10/8/26 ADOPT/RESCUE- NODAS MED - Last Call 10/07 at 11am CST Princess A1300480 9 months old Unaltered female 43.0 lbs Heartworm Negative Intake Type: Owner surrendered Adopets Link: https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/0509eb58-6796-4024-9a22-27f7856e28a8 Bio This 9‑month‑old girl urgently needs a safe place to land. She has a fractured tibia and fibula, and remaining in the shelter is putting her at risk for euthanasia. She’s a shy, frightened pup who isn’t sure what to expect from people yet. When you approach her kennel, she scoots gently toward the back, watching with wide, wary eyes. She needs a quieter, more supportive place than the shelter—somewhere she can rest, recover from her injury, and learn that people can be kind and safe. With patience, gentle handling, and the right environment, this little one has every chance to blossom. Medical Observation 10/2: Staff name:MAW8555 Description of concerns: Clipped by a car, swollen left back leg, limping Duration of symptoms: 1 week Medical Departments Findings:10/3- Fearful, won't approach. Tech tried to put leash on her to get her out and was unable to due to behavior. Will need to sedate in kennel and bring over. It is too late in the day and the public is present. Recommend do tomorrow a.m. before public is present.DRM 10/4: Adoption Exam Completed Altered: No Rabies given in RR leg; ASO administered DA2PP SQ in RF leg previously; ASO administered Bordetella intranasally previously; Heartworm Prevention given.
