@lygaiva: Getting older is hard. Losing strength is hard. Living in a body that doesn’t trust its own knees, hips and back is hard. But so is showing up to the gym when you’re tired. So is learning how to squat. So is lifting weights when your brain is screaming that you’re not built for it. One kind of hard leads to fragility. The other leads to freedom. Most women are never told this: After 30, we lose muscle and bone density every single year if we don’t actively train against it. That’s not aesthetics, that’s your ability to: - walk up stairs - get off the sofa - carry shopping - recover from a fall - live independently This is why osteoporosis is so scary. It’s not about brittle bones on a scan, it’s about broken hips, loss of mobility, and losing your independence later in life. And the only thing that meaningfully slows that process? ‼️Progressive strength training‼️ Not endless cardio. Not Pilates alone. Not 3kg dumbbells forever. Heavy, intentional resistance training that tells your body: “we need this tissue - keep it.” Yes, lunges are hard. Yes, squats are uncomfortable. Yes, lifting heavy is mentally challenging. But I promise you… being unable to stand up from a chair one day is harder. So choose your hard🤍 Train for the woman you’re going to be in 20, 30, 40 years - not just the body you see in the mirror today.
