Ingredients (Serves 4) • 2 cups water • 2 cups whole milk • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz) • ⅓ cup sugar • ~20 cardamom pods, crushed • 1 cinnamon stick • 1 clove • 4 Kenyan black tea bags Instructions 1. In a pot, combine the water, sugar, and spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer until the sugar fully dissolves and the spices are fragrant. 2. Pour in the whole milk and evaporated milk. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Add the tea bags and simmer for ~3 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. 4.
