Skip threads and do 3 or 4 notches with alignment pins. Rotate it 10-15 degrees either direction to open or close.

I mean, if you add a center post, flip the whole thing upside down, like when you used to buy bulk CD/DVDs for burning onto, it'll make it easier to get the disks off
