@alex_thevet: The “rage baiting your dog” trend is a perfect example of how social media rewards the wrong things. Your dog isn’t in on the joke. They’re not “being dramatic” or “acting for the camera.” They’re trying to make sense of a situation where the person they trust is suddenly confusing, threatening, or unpredictable. Stress signals in dogs don’t always look like panic - sometimes it’s freezing, side-eye, lip licking, leaving the room, or shutting down. When we deliberately push those buttons for engagement, we’re teaching them that their boundaries don’t matter and that their environment isn’t safe or stable. A few seconds of viral content isn’t worth weakening your dog’s trust in you or normalizing the idea that animals exist for our entertainment. If a trend only works when the subject is uncomfortable or distressed, that’s not a funny trend - it’s just cruelty. #ragebaitdog #dogbehavior #veterinaryadvice #animalwelfare

Isn’t this mentally challenging? Doesn’t dogs like being challenged mentally?

the guy who ragebaits his dog with the treat I've heard is actually really good cause it's mental stimulation as long as they get what they want at the end. so i can see what your saying but I don't think it's really hurting people's trust with there pets to much
