I just moved to Scottsdale from Madison Grove on Glendale and 7th street. Not exactly the best area but it surrounded by beautiful neighborhoods and is a good distance from just about everything (20 minutes from Scottsdale, 15 from downtown, 15 from Glendale), plus the apartments are actually very nice and updated! I lived in a 1B 1B 740sqft apartment for 2 years, paid less than $1500 for everything monthly. Each apartment front door is outside so no long hallways, it kind of gives me New Orleans vibes with all of the railings and banisters. I would check it out if you want!

I live at the Ryan downtown. Great apartments, not cheap but $2400 for 2 bed and bath with our views could be worse. Worth checking out!
