@ally_yost: i used to be the kind of girl who had no problem sleeping in until noon and not even starting my day until about 2pm. sometimes i’d even stay in my pajamas all day, order takeout for every meal, and stay up until 3am doom scrolling on my phone. laundry was my sworn enemy and would pile up in my closet for a solid month. I barely had the motivation to take care of my space, my stuff, or even myself. deep down, I always wanted to be that girl - the one who had her life together. I just had no idea how to become her. this didn’t happen overnight. it’s been a 3 year journey of real, slow growth. over time my faith has helped shape how I care for myself and the life I’ve been given. I’ve learned to love my body better, take responsibility for my space, and treat everyday routines with intention. whether that’s keeping my home clean, doing my laundry, moving my body, sticking to a nighttime routine, or even learning to ask for help when I need it. the biggest change happened on the inside first. when I opened up to Jesus about the messy parts of my life, I began to experience real transformation. not through perfection, but through grace. Along the way I’ve learned to be patient with myself while building healthier habits. I’ve learned that growth doesn’t have to be rushed, and that it’s okay to take things one day at a time. 🤍
