Worst ever! I have never been accused of more - bizarre- false - horrible things in my life! Straight up made up false accusations! If you have not been thru this abuse, which I pray you never have- it impossible to understand how debilitating it can be. Especially if ur married or live together- I was always asked , why don’t u just leave? As if it’s that easy… it’s a vicious cycle of insanity. And takes a lot of courage and strength…it’s so sad. And then once ur accused and insulted in more ways that u could imagine- they say they love u and need u and cant keep their hands off u- they are calculating and know EXACTLY what they are doing to us.

The more I listen to online conversations about narcissism, the more it sounds like people are not looking for truth. They are looking for a villain. Today that villain is the narcissist. I am a narcissist, and I know I am not perfect. But I also know that not every selfish person is a narcissist, not every cold person is a narcissist, and not every ex who hurt someone deserves that label.

I crashed out a few too many times before I figured out what he was doing. Once I learned to keep my calm, and recognized the patterns and stopped reacting helped me heal and prepare to leave.

I constantly tried to explain. Try to reason, try to compromise and my emotional frustration led me to arguing and raising my voice out of anger . I was blamed as the hurtful one because I raised my voice . Better now . I simply disengage and disappear.

I endured it over 12 years. Even defending that he wasn’t a covert narcissist. Until I found a journal where I had written many pages about the abuse and different things. Yesterday read one of my journals that sickened me and I lost it.
