No reason to work extra hard, you’ll never have a home w white fence, you can’t raise 2-5 kids, so in other words 0 fam 0 home, therefore 0 incentive to work harder in corporate, bare minimum will do, paycheck for survival and thts it simple

It honestly just isn’t realistic anymore, and yes I know you can hustle and do this and do that and be rich af, but I just want a normal life and that ain’t even realistic anymore fr. How half my paycheck goin to rent, I thought the rule was 30%. The rules aren’t even realistic anymore. Covid also changed everything because I want to live life and see the world, that’s not realistic anymore either before u could like regular and travel once in a while. Now it’s picks one or the other and YES FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH, I will pick travel 9x out of 10 and delay buying a house or getting married or getting kids. I gotta put myself first😭. This was therapeutic 😭

As a millennial, I love the way Gen Z is approaching corporate. I am hoping they will make a lot of permanent changes for the better. But unfortunately, some of Gen X are acting like boomers so we have ways to go.
