Unconventional take, but as someone who has been in therapy for years, sometimes I AM the problem and I'd hope my therapist would (gently) help me see that. If I am stuck in a pattern EVERYWEEK, then help me gain the tools to identify the problem and fix it. I def see how it would be off-putting for those new to therapy though. (Disclaimer: I am very lucky to have a good therapist)

As a therapist, I am still amazed at some of the things clients tell me their past therapists have said & done. 🙄
