It seriously amazes me that the plot of the show is about chasing freedom but the deeper message is that true freedom will never be achieved because of the conflict we endure amongst each other as humans. Thats why the story “restarts” during the last episode showing that history always repeats itself and we will never truly be free. Attack on titan is THE definition of human conflict. Greatest piece of fiction ever created.
