@sophiemorrisofficial: If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I’ve spoken a lot about supermarket honey and how most of the honey in supermarkets are actually blends of EU and non-EU honeys, where you’ve no real idea where it’s coming from and honey adulteration is a real issue in this industry! (FYI I’m not at all saying this particular squeezy honey in Aldi has been adulterated!!) That’s why seeing Mileeven stocked permanently in Aldi is so good to see. This is real, raw and unblended single origin honey and exactly what honey should be. I’ve seen the process of how real honey is collected from hive to jar and it really does make you appreciate why it shouldn’t be very cheap! This is not to say not to buy the cheaper blends of honey ever, as real honey is much more expensive and if your household goes through a lot of honey I understand it’s not realistic to only buy good quality honey - it’s just to say that as consumers it’s important we understand what it is that we’re buying and that we understand the cheap honey is not going to give us the health benefits that real honey does! I love seeing better quality food becoming more accessible in places like Aldi and Lidl.
