@cali.hoss: Crunches and leg raises won’t build a strong core. They may build visible abs, but they don’t train what the core is designed to do, resist movement. If you want real core strength, you need to focus on anti-movement training. Anti-extension (resist lower-back arching) • Planks • Hollow body holds • Ab rollouts • Dragon flags Anti-lateral flexion (resist side bending) • Single-arm farmer’s carries • Side planks • Lateral back extension holds • Human flag (and variations) Anti-rotation (resist twisting) • Pallof press • Strict single-arm planks • Turkish get-ups Anti-flexion (resist rounding forward) • Front carries • Zercher carries • Good-morning holds • Back extension holds Choose one or two exercises from each category and build them into your training , because no strength program is complete without anti-movement core work. #coretraining #strongcore #strength #fitnessprogram
