A lot of people are mentioning eco mode not actually helping. Eco mode can only reduce power, it can't make you drive differently. If you put the car in eco mode and drive it just as hard as you normally would it's not going to help much. Eco mode adjustable the gas pedals input curve. If you notice the car isn't accelerating slower, you're most likely pushing the gas pedal harder to counteract the eco mode system.
