Now the camera system is ok for operations but if those go out for any reason there should be some sort of redundancy port like a periscope so they can see where there driving right?

Imo I think implementing the old auto loader system(but more modern with newer technology) in the v3 that still kept 4 crew in case of need for repairs malfunction in the autoloader exct but I don’t know a lot about tanks and what would be best so just a thought

I’ll give them a pass on the sponsons and bustle rack not being on it because it’s a prototype and could be added down the line but my main problem is picture this it’s table 6 you’re in the middle of your widow maker engagement and you get a misfire does the gunner or TC have to get out and go inside the turret and troubleshoot it? Compared to already having a loader inside the turret who can service the breech right there and get the gun up in less time

Hi Matt, I think they overdid it with the top ATGM, it's not as useful an idea as the large-caliber machine gun. Initially, when I saw the rear of the turret, I thought it would have an automatic loader like in the Leopard tanks. I think the Abrams V3 needs to be modernized by replacing the engine.

So I think that the squares are actually IF scramblers. That exhaust port is actually for an APU that the sep v3 have. So instead of running the engine we can run a somewhat quiet generator.

Im confused as to why there doesn’t seem to be any smoke grenades? I know the turret isn’t the finalized, but it definitely seems like an odd choice.

It seems like the lack of periscopes or windows is a critical weakness. If the tank has any combat damage and a camera gets taken out, there’s no backup for observation.

THE NATO HUMP!! For real though I know that the hump on the back of the tank is for engine sizing but have we ever tried to eliminate it again? Could be key for fights down the line 🤷🏼♂️
