I'm convinced Frieren haters are afraid of true deep written characters, true storytelling, genuine art of life and patience, the joy of just living at your own pace. But nah, let's take overstimulating, fast-paced and flashy animes because they're impatient, need stimulus like an ipad kid and need to feel big and strong because all the main characters of the animes they watch do is fight and win. There's beauty in losing, in running away or taking things slow just as much as winning. They're just afraid of it and it shows.
