I don’t think I have the energy to be in a poly relationship…the amount of communication involved so that everyone feels valued and appreciated seems exhausting but I’m a lesbian so that’s probably why 🤣

I only knew 1 polyamory relationship to work, & it worked WELL. my aunt & uncle, and their bf & gf.. it was amazing. until my uncle got cancer, died last month, and his primary gf of 7 years got treated like a nothing. They lived together, just the two of em for 7 years. its horrifying. it cemented my idea.

I'm all for poly relationships but I saw something on here that made sense; because we are so glued to our phones and socially isolated, we tend to mistake connection for romance....if we understood that we're not really lacking romance but human connection, poly relationships would decrease in numbers....
