@emilymaddison99: Supporting your baby & toddler to sleep is biologically normal! Babies are meant to wake up in the night, it’s not something that needs to be ‘fixed’ #motherhood #sleeptraining #momtok #toddlermom #motherhoodjourney

My hubby and I still sleep in separate rooms, me and bubba in one room co sleeping, and him in the other. My 2yo was high needs too, and never really did come right even after a little bit of sleep training at various points. But I’ve learnt to love co sleeping ❤️they’re only little for a limited time!

This is so me and I’m glad to know that someone does the same and is feeling great about it. I’m actually totally fine with our set up now, but sometimes the pressure on the vids I see on tiktok about sleep training is what causes me to feel bad 😅 so I just scroll up quickly before it messes my emotions. Thanks mumma! Xx

right there with you 💜 ‘wiring their nervous system for the rest of their lives’ it helps to surrender to it and drown out the noise of what you ‘should’ be doing. what they need is you and your baby isn’t broken if they need your closeness and love to feel safe 🥰 what an honour

Exactly my story. First 8-9 months was contact nap only, cosleeping with husband in a separate room. Still cosleeping and helping to fall asleep at 20 months BUT my husband and I finally decided to get back to sleeping together. We pushed two queens on the floor and now sleep together and it’s been a game changer for the family dynamic! Plus it’s so sweet waking up early mornings all together as a family ❤️

I am at my wits ends myself. Bub won’t touch his bassinet at night or day. How did you start bed sharing? My Bub only wants to sleep in our arms, could I start with that and transition/transfer him to the safe co sleeping position?

This may have been really tough, but you’re showing so much strength. Motherhood is hard and it’s alway nice to see that I’m not the only one who had my struggles!

Right there with ya, mama! My 13m old is the exact same way. I just started being able to put him down for naps a month or two ago, but he still needs me at night.

I'm at the stage of HIGHLY considering sleep training. We are struggling so bad and we do cosleep now and he will sleep through the night, mostly, but I'm uncomfortable and get no time to myself during the day and night. But, when he cries I cannot just let him go and I do love waking up to his smile. I have no idea what to do

This was us!! Then at 28 months my daughter started napping on her own and sleeping totally on her own in her own bed!! She still comes to our bed to cuddle occasionally but she’s such a great sleeper now!! We still lay with her until she falls asleep bc we love it. It was so rewarding even though it was hard! They sleep independently when they are ready!
