I been building websites since 2000. Websites like these look pretty for one view but the UX are bad, the transitions and animations are distracting. Can't tell you how many of these flashy websites I redesigned to be more simplified.

the source-digging approach is the actual move, you learn the patterns instead of just copying the output 🫶 my guess before the reveal: gsap + three.js doing the heavy lifting with a shader or two. but you can't leave us hanging — what was the stack you didn't expect??

landonorris is performing a poor 38 score on pagespeed on mobile and 60 on desktop... on mobile having a FCP 2.1 and LCP 38 seconds 😳. So waiting 38 seconds to load a page is crazy
