So o worked in a jewelry store for years. Here’s what happened. They were out of the correct head size for your diamond. Rather than call and tell you it might be another week they did this. Go tell them put the correct size head on it, that you don’t mind a small wait because this looks ridiculous. And tell them you want it set low.
