The only one whose not returning effects the show is Daphne Bridgerton. Her not showing up to her siblings weddings is so NOT the Bridgerton way considering that family is their biggest strength and what they value the most.

The reason Daphne isn’t returning is because the actor for Simon is refusing. She has much more story line in the book series, it honestly would have been better for both their careers if he stayed and did something similar to Jonathan Bailey

We need all the Bridgerton siblings in every season, even those who aren't protagonists, even if it's just for a measly 10 minutes of screen time. In every book, there's always a brother present to give advice, play cupid, or simply bring gifts to add a bit of humor. Daphne was essential in the love lives of some of the brothers, and it's a shame they couldn't keep her. My favorite book is Eloise's; I can't imagine an adaptation without the Bridgerton boys. The scene of them going after Eloise and breaking into Sir Philip's house needs to have all four brothers together. If we lose one member of the family each season, then it will be another great disregard for this wonderful work. They made so many senseless changes and didn't take into account what we, the fans of the original work, would like to see. I just hope that if we ever get to see an adaptation of Gregory's book, we can also see an ending with all the siblings and spouses together, so we can have a worthy conclusion.
