This is the kinda shit Malcolm X was talkin about. I agreed with very few things that man said but his truest words that a black man’s greatest threat is not the whit racist but rather the white ally that tries to be a voice and speak up for them. When people do that, they’re in form basically saying that they do not believe you are good enough to support yourself, that they are infact better than you, and that you do need help because they value you as much as a racist would, if not less. Stop trying to be a white savior lady.

The word “racist” lost all its meaning when people started shouting it when someone didn’t agree with them.

Kylie, thank you for being an ally? Throughout history, when a yt person calls out racism, racist yt people show their ass ( that’s a Black Colloquialism). You will be called all kinds of names and be ridiculed. You must be tough and stay strong like Black people have for the past 407 years. You are appreciated.

How do you handle a situation where you have one group of POC calling a creator racist for something they did, and another group of POC saying what that creator did isn’t racist? Sometimes it’s hard for me to know whether or not I should still support a creator because I want to support victims.

Don’t get me wrong it’s not a good feeling when someone tells you something you said or did is racist or comes off as a micro aggression. Nobody wants to be seen that way or be that way. You might not be racist at heart but your actions still affect people. It shouldn’t be that hard to apologize change and move on
