Wanna know why I’m tired? I’m tired from trying to give away some of MY PERSONAL insulin stash to other diabetics in need while still needing it myself. I’m sorry but I don’t care about her and most of the worlds issues I know I don’t contribute too. I’m a straight cis black man—I do activism for feminism, lgbtqa, ourselves/racism/xenophobia in general. I make sure to hold myself accountable especially for misogynior (I think blk men need to do better on this) and lgbtqa discrimiantion. But im not going to feel guilty for the fact that the enslavers who brought us here and continually oppress up to this day (not to mention globally) are doing bad to other marginalized people. It’s insane how they will use leftist language to empathize Palestinians (rightfully so) due to them being colonized and oppressed for the last 75 years because of yt supremacy and Israel, but then dismiss blk people especially blk women struggles and even attack us despite our oppression being known to this day from the fact that we were slaves, segregated, and still downtrodden. They’re so suprised that ice is bigoted and don’t care about other people, but if they had the same empathy for blk people like they do everybody else, they would realize “Oh, even though Kamala is not perfect (and even then she’s better than most of these chronically online people who don’t do any material good), people still chose to vote in and excused the current administration who said they were going to do this.
