I just finished, I can attest that I wish* I did the German short rows. I was nervous and didn’t do them. It still looks great for my 1st sweater but I wish I did the short rows.

Forced myself to do the short rows (first time doing a sweater from only doing hand warmers). It was not nearly as difficult as I’d built it up in my head. The video was fantastic.

Just finished mine! I did drops Nepal in light grey and drops kid silk in the mauve color! I find the drops mohair a tiny bit itchy but I can still wear with a tank top! I did German short rows but could have done maybe one more set because there is a bit of extra fabric under the collar in front

For the sweater to be a bit more form fitted would we not have to work increases after the decreases to make room for the hips?

Hi! If you’re reading this can I have some help 🥲 for the German short rows when it means repeat twice on the first row is that the first four stitch markers or does it mean go all the way past the large amount of stitches for what I think is the back and do the increases there (sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m just rlly confused 😭)

I wanted to make one so bad but it is IMPOSSIBLE to find 40cm circular in brazil ugh
