The Opening Gambit: Domain Clashes The fight began with a series of Domain Expansions. This was a theoretical nightmare for both: The Refinement War: Gojo’s Unlimited Void and Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine were so evenly matched in refinement that they canceled each other out within the barrier. The Barrier Trickery: Because Sukuna’s domain had no outer shell (an open barrier), it could attack Gojo’s barrier from the outside. Gojo had to repeatedly shrink, expand, and flip the conditions of his domain just to keep from being shredded by a million slashes.
