I used to say proudly “I’m just matching your energy” and now having grown beyond that I look back and realize how basic that approach was to life. It allowed folks to control me and how my day went. Having developed since then, now I recognize the lower energy when I’m around it and just smile and focus on not letting it have any impact on me whatsoever. 🙂
