Haiti is the reason the Caribbean is free.. I’m Jamaican and studied Caribbean history… Haiti practice voodoo but what I learned while studying is that voodoo isnt all evil.. there is good voodoo and bad voodoo. Voodoo is stigmatized as completely evil. Which other civilization has religions similar like some paganism.
