I am in the boat as far as not preparing for retirement. Concentrate on yourself. What are your likes and dislikes? Think about things that interest you and engage in those activities, just to satisfy you and nobody else. You by yourself is enough. You cannot control what someone else does. The only one you can control is you. Set boundaries and stick to them.

I’m feeling your pain. You energy is kind and you keep attracting avoidants. You may have anxious attachment. Once you center you can see what you’re attracting. There is no explanation for it so don’t spend a lot of time trying to figure out the other side. Just do what you can do for yourself and continue to focus on your health, your happiness and recognizing who you’re attracted to and why because they aren’t mixing for the long haul. Trust me I was you.
