We need a a progressive wealth tax bracketed like income tax: - 0.01% on $10M-$20M - 0.1% on $20M-$40M - 1.0% on $40M-$80M - 10% on $80M-$160M - 100% above $160M Apply this to both personal and corporate wealth. Corporations can deduct the value of employee equity and double the wage of unionized employees from their taxable value. Individuals and businesses receive 0% credit line with a borrowing limit equal to the value of assets and capital gains of any publicly owned wealth taxed from them. Retool the quarterly reporting and auditing infrastructure to a simple moving 90 day average for liquid asset taxation. Retool the yearly property tax infrastructure for taxing illiquid assets with the amount taxed placed as a public lien on the property so that it doesn’t require liquidation to pay. Introduce a targeted consumption tax on goods and services, and LVT to manage inflation Eliminate all taxes on wages, including social security, payroll, workers’ compensation, etc.
