Nope. Wood is just as bad for bacteria reasons. A porous material like wood is bad for its own reasons. And God forbid you try to soak it to get hard stains or food off it... The wood literally comes apart...

So, I see all these reports about how much microplastics we have in our body, but I’m missing the objective evidence that it actually has a negative impact on us. Cancers, diseases, and other health issues that *might* be related are just assumed to be. But is there any direct correlation that eliminates any other possible effect?
