‘FAITH OVER FEAR’-Shots were fired at our ranch. We are alive, but something inside us has been shaken in a way that cannot be put back easily. Freedom Acres Ranch is the place that was meant to be safe, the land we fought for, the space where we built life and purpose, has been violated. We are living with fear on our own land. We are carrying the weight of knowing that violence has found us and that it was allowed to happen by those who are sworn to protect and serve. This did not come out of nowhere. This has been building. This has been ignored. This falls squarely on the shoulders of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and their refusal to protect us. The people who are sworn to serve and protect have instead allowed violence, stalking, harm, intimidation, and hate to grow unchecked around us. We believe we are being pushed out. We believe there are efforts to remove us from land we have poured everything into. Mentally, we are exhausted. Physically, we are worn down. Financially, this is breaking us. This is affecting our ability to run our business, to protect our animals, and to continue the work that matters not just to us, but to our community. Still, we pray. We lift our hands in prayer even while fear surrounds us. We hold on to faith even as violence and hate presses in from every side. But faith does not mean silence. Faith does not mean accepting violence and harm. We need people to see this and act. Visibility is protection. If something happens to us, understand it will not be random. We have been sounding the alarm, and the responsibility will fall back on the El Paso County Sheriff's Office for allowing this environment of violence and fear to continue. From this moment forward, every person coming to the ranch must provide ID. No exceptions. We will not be forced off our land. We will not be silenced. Fear will not win, Hate will not win. We will continue to push light and love. Faith is carrying us, but we need you community now more than ever. #freedom #freedomacresranch #ColoradoRanchers #farmers #faithovefear
