@readnsipwithmilly: STORY TITLE: THE LONG GAME By @Mmiliaku (Milly) I decided to try creating a longer AI-animated story and oh my God, I saw premium shege. This thing is not easy at all. My respect for the people who consistently create those beautiful AI stories my kids and I binge-watch on the clock app has multiplied. I don't think I'll attempt a long story again unless I have pro access to all the necessary AI apps and sites, because free versions has humbled me. The perfectionist in me fought hard to keep the characters visually consistent, but AI will always remind you that it is AI. I couldn't get perfect consistency, but I tried my best to keep each character recognisable through their hairstyles. Zara kept her bun throughout. Sandra, her roommate, stayed on braids, even though the colour and style shifted slightly. The other two roommates had a brown curly afro and a bob respectively. I hope this made it easier to tell who was who. Honestly, that part alone was serious work. Phew! My biggest motivation for doing this was simple. I wanted to prove to myself that I could. Since last year, I've been telling myself I would attempt an AI-animated story, but procrastination kept winning. I'm really glad I finally pushed myself to do it. Writing the story itself wasn't a walk in the park either. I wasn't just trying to create something entertaining. I wanted the story to mean something and leave an impact. I hope I achieved that through Zara's journey. Low-key though, I admired Zara's roommates. They lived life to the fullest and they genuinely had fun. I just wish they didn't completely abandon their studies in the process. I wish they listened to Zara more, and that they managed the money they made better. Still, their friendship and bond stood out to me, and I loved portraying that. After finishing Zara's arc, I didn't have the strength to fully tell the stories of her three roommates. That exhaustion is why I ended things the sarcastic way I did. I hope it wasn't too annoying. I truly enjoyed creating this, but it is very time-consuming. I don't see myself attempting another long story without pro access, especially for text-to-speech and picture-to-video tools. Those subscriptions are not smiling.
