@todayshow: Personal ads, once a back-of-the-newspaper staple, are making a comeback and putting a spin on dating. Reporting for TODAY, NBC’s Yasmin Vossoughain takes a look at what has singles trading in their dating apps in favor of the old-fashioned way for finding a match.

Problem with personals. You’re going to exchange numbers and text therefore exchange photos before interaction and then it’s right back to the dating app vibe, except they have your number. This is not 1980s style because they couldn’t exchange pics or they would have.
