I’m not a mom and I’m not sure that’s in my future but being a teacher makes me feel extremely maternal. If there is a need, I’m going to fulfill it to the best of my ability. I wish I had the power to make this a better world for them.

We call it “baby hair salon” and I fix anyone’s hair who didn’t have time to do it in the morning. Makes all the difference in their day when they feel good and we build connection ❤️

I’m a 4th grade teacher and a 1st grader passed me and I said they need to tie their shoes. He looked up at me and said “I don’t know how :(“ and I said “that’s okay! Can I help?” And helped this little one tie his little shoes. Took me off guard in my upper elementary bubble 🥲
